Day 41 – I don’t have a photo for today. Too bad as I spent the rainy afternoon with a friend and her daughter in their home in Epping. We had a lunch of pork skewers (the Pinoy BBQ recipe), tofu and salted egg salad. Then it was followed by Oreo cheesecake I brought for my friend’s daughter. Yes, my baking skills have gone up a notch to making yummy baked cheesecake. Admittedly though, if you judge my cheesecake based on looks, it may not be as good as it tastes.
More than the food though, it was the company that made it worth the hour long train ride. One thing I appreciate about my friendship with Ai is that I can talk to her about everything, including faith stuff. The money plant cuttings were a bonus 🙂
