Day 59 – She was my Japan travel buddy who is quick to point out that a geisha in training is rightly called a maiko… And that is who tourists see in Gion. Tonight we were not on Japan mode but the focus was still Asia, Korea, to be precise.
A hearty Korean barbecue dinner left us so full that we had to walk to the Star for her dessert fix. She was insistent on being referred to as my non-Korean friend for some reason. She also pointed out that A has an Asian fatish, not fetish, given that his girlfriend (me) continues to grow horizontally. No offense taken, it was actually a good joke if you heard the entire conversation the pun was thrown in.
